Only you can see your workouts. Export everything to CSV anytime.
Free gym app and online workout log
LiftFile is a free workout tracker that runs in your browser — on your phone and computer, nothing to install. Log your gym workouts, build a training plan, count calories and see your strength progress on charts.
Gym workout logging
A training journal instead of a notebook: exercises, sets, weight, reps and RIR. Every exercise shows what you did last time.
Gym workout plans
Ready-made programs (full body, push pull legs, upper/lower) or your own split. The app checks weekly volume for every muscle group.
Guided workout mode
Train with the app set by set: it counts down your rest between sets and logs each set with one tap.
1RM calculator and PRs
Estimated one-rep max (Epley formula), a barbell plate calculator and automatic personal records — for bench press, squat, deadlift and every other lift.
Calorie counter and TDEE calculator
A calorie calculator (BMR and TDEE) for cutting, bulking or maintenance, plus a food diary with a product database and macros: protein, carbs and fat.
Exercise library
Over 900 exercises for chest, back, legs, shoulders and arms — dumbbell, barbell, machine and bodyweight.
Questions
Is LiftFile free?
Yes. Create an account and log as many workouts as you like — no ads, no trial period.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. LiftFile runs in the browser and is designed for phones first — big inputs, bottom navigation and fast set logging between sets.
How is the estimated 1RM calculated?
We use the Epley formula: weight × (1 + reps / 30). For a single rep the e1RM is simply the weight. It is an estimate that shows your trend well, not the result of a max attempt.
Can anyone else see my workouts?
No. Your data is stored in a Supabase database with row-level security — every query returns only the signed-in owner's data.
Can I add my own exercises?
Yes. Besides the built-in library you can add any exercise — even while logging a workout, by typing its name into the search box.
Can I train in pounds?
Yes. Switch between kg and lb in settings.
Does LiftFile count calories?
Yes. The calorie calculator estimates your needs (BMR and TDEE) for cutting, bulking or maintenance, and the food diary tracks meals with calories and macros.
Can I follow a ready-made workout plan?
Yes. Pick a template (e.g. full body or push pull legs) or build your own, then start a workout with one tap — the app guides you set by set.
